Adventures to remember!

Nothing is cooler than an expedition!

More and more schools are taking older students on trips further afield, exposing them to issues like marine conservation.  A recent school expedition to Belize visited the rainforest then the reefs!

School expeditions and diving go hand in hand.  Together, they create fantastic memories and, if  combined with reef conservation volunteer work, give back something to the planet!

The students on the trip were going to assist in conservation.  Several of them, and some of the staff too, made the sensible decision to save the four solid days out of the trip it would take to learn to dive and to learn before they go.

School expeditions and diving

They came to Dive Odyssea individually, but, if you or your school have similar plans, why not arrange the training as an extracurricular activity?  This would not only increase the time available to whatever conservation project your trip is supporting, but turn qualifying as a diver into a school achievement.

We can train your expedition members as full Open Water Divers, taking them through all the classroom and pool sessions, and onto their open water dives. Alternatively, we can undertake “referral” training where the dive student does the classroom and pool work here, but undergoes the four qualifying open water dives at their trip destination.

Dive Odyssea is an “Approved Youth Training Centre”.

We are committed to safeguarding.  We  have policies and procedures in place  to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all our students, and staff who have undergone DBS checks.  Additonally, we have full back up from of the world’s leading international diving governing body.
